Use Cache Module
The cache module will drastically increase the processing speed of all API calls, concluding on very low CPU and memory usage. Keep this setting active or inactive, depending on your preference. More details upon this functionality can be found at Use the Cache Module for API interactions This option is available through Settings > Software Licence.

Access Restriction – Grant access to licence key after payment
Enable this option to grant access to licence keys when orders are “completed”, rather than “processing”. This prevent licence key management for not yet paid orders. The setting is available at WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Licence Products

Licence Expire
This setting control different aspects regarding expire licensing. This settings group is available at WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Licence Products

Extend Button visibility
Make available the licence Extend button a number of days before expire. Default is 10. Set to 0 for always visible.

Extend Button visibility after license expiration
Provide the option to display the License Extend button for a certain number of days after the license has expired. To keep the button always visible, set the value to 0. If you want to prevent customers from extending their license once it has expired, set the value to -1.

Trigger expire reminders
Send user an about to expire e-mail message, a number of days ahead. Numbers comma separated.
e.g. 7,3 means 7 days before, 3 days before expiration.

Email Notifications
When using the default Expire functionality, the plugin include an e-mail notification functionality which can be used to inform the users upon the expiration of a licence. The e-mails use the same system as WooCommerce internal messages, meaning they share the same layout, header and footer. Also the e-mail templates can be moved to WordPress theme for further modifications to prevent the plugin update capability. The setting is available at WooCommerce > Settings > Emails

To move the template to theme for further editing, the “Copy file to theme” button should be used.

On License Extend, start at the default date.
By default, when extending the license, the new interval starts from the date when the extension is processed. However, if you choose to use this option, the interval will start from the end date of the previous interval.

Assign domain to key on status-check method
On status-check API method call, if a key is not assigned to the domain, create an entry for it. This prevent disconnecting licensing, when migrating site instance to another domain.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union (EU) law taking effect on May 25, 2018. The purpose of GDPR is to give European citizens more control over their personal and related data stored by others.

The WooCommerce Software License plugin never stores any sensitive personal information on the server side or locally using cookies.

The WooCommerce Software License creates and manages License Keys for your products. A software license key, also known as a product key or activation key, is a unique alphanumeric code used to activate and authorize the use of a particular software program. When you purchase a software program, you are typically required to enter the license key during the installation process to prove that you have a valid license to use the software. The license key is often provided with the software in a confirmation email. The license key helps software developers ensure that users are using their software legally and are not violating any copyright laws. Without a valid license key, the software program may not function properly, or its use may be limited to a trial period or certain features. Some software programs require users to periodically enter their license key to ensure that the software is still being used according to the terms of the license agreement.
The License Keys are linked to the Orders, which is a customer purchase. So in terms of GDPR compliance, a license key can be considered indirectly identifiable personal data. So you have to specify the purpose and usage of license keys:

Inform the user of your identity, the types of data you gather, why you collect them, how long you keep them, and which third parties you share them with (if any)

Allowing people to view their licensing data ( provided through My Account > Licenses )

Allow people to remove their license ( provided through My Account > Licenses )

To ensure GDPR compliance, you should update your network Privacy Policy, if applicable.
